Yo, I’ll tell you what I want, what I really, really want

So tell me what you want, what you really, really want

I’ll tell you what I want, what I really, really want

So tell me what you want, what you really, really want

I wanna, (ha) I wanna, (ha) I wanna, (ha) I wanna, (ha)

I wanna really, really, really wanna zigazig ah

One of the great things about being an idealist is that you’re not afraid to dream big, believe big, think big. In my head, the world is my oyster and I can receive and accomplish anything I can dream of. I do believe in “impossible dreams.” I do believe my faith can move mountains.

From my perspective, my parents weren’t like that, one was more pragmatic and the other pessimistic, from them I did not learn to channel my idealism to reach for the stars, from them I learned fear, worry and anxiety. To this day, I struggle with that part of me (the part plagued by these three emotions). I carry these monsters everywhere I go, and mostly on my own I try to fight them.

But I am determined. It is not my intention to be conquered by my life, but to conquer it. To conquer my fears, and overcome my weaknesses and limitations. Even if it takes every last bit of me, my time and all I have to do so. I’ve got my work cut out for me.

So, what do I want, well I already mentioned the first part- I want to conquer my life. I want to live it well and end it (when it’s time) with a bang.
