At the moment, my source of t.v watching comes from streaming, our family is currently paying for Netflix (our OG), Prime, and Disney+.

I temporarily signed-up for Philo ($20/m) to watch Hallmark and Lifetime Christmas movies in December, but decided to keep it for at least one more month (January) to see if I’d find the time for feel-good cliche romance movies or the mystery movies on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Philo is a complete “me thing.” My husband is not going to watch any of the channels available on it, we really don’t need that much t.v.

I also signed-up for one month of HBO Max ($15/m) to watch “WW84” (Wonder Woman 1984), which wasn’t as good as I’d thought it would be, as well as His Dark Materials, which was cool. I think HBO Max is too expensive, and not worth it to me, I wouldn’t pay for it monthly. Tempted though, because of their expected cinematic releases that would be available on the streaming service at the same time as they are release in the theaters, like what they did with “WW84.”

Netflix Movies 2021

Looks like Netflix has a big movie line-up in 2021. I don’t know what most of them are about, but Netflix movies are often really good. I enjoy them very much. My favorite movie genres are Family, Romance, Adventure, Dance Flicks, Chick-Flicks, Epic, some Action, never Horrors, barely Thrillers. Here are the two Netflix movies I am looking forward to the most, then I expect to be wowed and surprised by anything else.

  • The Kissing Booth 3
  • To All the Boys: Always and Forever, Lara Jean- February 12, 2021
